  आम शिक्षित भारतीय नागरिक की गुहार, “क्यों है भारतीय बुजुर्गों की चिंतजनाक स्थिति” ।  सरकार को 65 साल से ज़्यादा उम्र के सभी बुजुर्गों पर ध्यान क्यों देने को तैयार नहीं है ?  “क्या भारत में बुजुर्ग होना अपराध है? भारत में 70 साल के बाद बुजुर्ग मेडिकल इंश्योरेंस के लिए योग्य नहीं हैं, उन्हें EMI पर लोन नहीं मिलता। ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस नहीं दिया जाता। उन्हें कोई काम नहीं दिया जाता, इसलिए वे जीने के लिए दूसरों पर निर्भर रहते हैं। उन्होंने रिटायरमेंट की उम्र यानी 60-65 साल तक सभी टैक्स, इंश्योरेंस प्रीमियम भरे थे। अब बुजुर्ग होने के बाद भी उन्हें सभी टैक्स देने पड़ते हैं। भारत में बुजुर्गों के लिए कोई योजना नहीं है। रेल/हवाई यात्रा पर 50% छूट भी बंद कर दी गई है। तस्वीर का दूसरा पहलू यह है कि राजनीति में बुजुर्गों को विधायकों, सांसदों या मंत्रियों को मिलने वाले सभी फायदे दिए जाते हैं और उन्हें पेंशन भी मिलती है। समझ नहीं आता कि बाकी सभी (कुछ सरकारी कर्मचारियों को छोड़कर) को यही सुविधाएं क्यों नहीं दी जातीं। सोचिए, अगर उनका ख्याल नहीं रखा गया तो कहाँ जाएँगे। अगर देश के बुजुर्ग चु...
